{My thoughts} – The illustrations in this book are wonderful. They match the text within the pages nicely. It is also a lift the flap book and I’m not a huge fan because they can be easily ruined of a child isn’t watched closely enough with the book. However, aside from that I think it is overall a nice little book for children.
I like how it has a simple and sweet message using animals to tell children how much they are loved. I like how the end of the book lets you ask the child about the ways in which you say that you love them. I think it is a nice way to get a small child to talk to you and share their thoughts on the message in the book.
I recommend this book for any child that enjoys lift the flap type books. It is a nice book and well designed and I am sure that they would love to have it added to their library of books.
