{My thoughts} – I enjoyed this little Christmas book. I look forward to reading this one to my girls closer to Christmas. It is a nice little song put to story kind of book.
Away in the Manger is a classic Christmas song. The first verse is what helps to make up the story within the pages of this book. The first verse tells the story of the birth of Jesus.
The illustrations match the words on the pages nicely. They go together rather flawlessly. I really like the way in which the illustrations are made to look similar to that of cartoons.
I think that any child can learn to fall in love with this book. It is a nice Christmas story that helps to teach small children the words to the first verse of Away in a Manger. I think that it will make a nice addition to any child’s bookshelf. It can also make a nice gift under the tree this coming Christmas!
