{My Thoughts} – I started out reading this book thinking it reminded me a lot of the {Junie B. Jones} series only with slightly older children. I have to admit I still think that but it was a lot more then that as well. This book is about twelve students that make up an advanced math and language class at Hat City Middle School. These twelve sixth grade children are composed of six boys and six girls. Through out the whole book they take part in competitions to see who is better then the other based on gender specific teams. It ends with the ultimate competition called the math off/ verbal off. This competition is suppose to prove which gender is ultimately smarter then the other gender thus allowing the children to prove to each other that statistics are not always correct. In some cases they just might be flawed.
I have to say this book is nicely written, it was a nice and fast read and I enjoyed all the factual information provided within the pages. I personally have not read the book {Little Women} but after reading this book, I might just want to add it to me {to be read} pile.
