{Synopsis} –Kiersten and her friends love ghost hunting; their idea of a good time is rooting around haunted houses. Tonight was supposed to be no different. Kiersten is hoping the night's spooky antics will take her mind off her troubles. This time they're exploring Creighton Asylum, but tonight it's not ghosts who threaten them.
Kiersten and her friends must try and survive as a very real killer chases them through the halls of the locked asylum. He knows every inch of the building by heart, and he has some nasty surprises in store for them.
Can Kiersten and her friends survive a night in the Asylum?
{My Thoughts} – I sat on this review for a few days longer then I had wanted to but I wasn’t sure how to exactly portray in terms of my thoughts. This book is a nice and fast read, I read it in under two hours. It is rather graphical with its descriptions and was extremely well thought out.
Kiersten and her friends always go on ghost hunting expeditions. This time however, they find themselves in some real danger. Kiersten is strong willed, outspoken, opinionated and a very lively character. It was east for me to relate to her for more then the obvious reasons.
I had not thought that the book was going to end the way that it had, but I had thought it would be along the lines of similar. When I finished the book I was thinking the ending was similar to that of {the lovely bones: alice sebold}. I didn’t think that because of the typical reasons but because it reminded me of the book, but not enough to make me think it was too similar. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, whereas {the lovely bones} I regret wasting time reading. So please do not compare the two. It just wouldn’t be fair.
Final Conclusion: 5 Star Rating.
