{My Thoughts} – This book is amazing. It is well written, the description within the pages is attention grabbing and just plain awesome sauce. If you have read any of the other books in the series you should know that these books are re-tellings of fairy-tales, but with Cameron Jace’s own twist.
This book is actually two books in one if you want my opinion. Fable’s Dreamworld and The Queen’s Diary. The interesting part about this is that The Queen’s Diary takes place before Fable’s Dreamworld, but even though they are in the same book, the chapter headings help to prevent confusion and the book is very easy to follow along with. I found it to be a smooth and wonderful read. The transitions between the two stories were flawless and it all seemed to go together nicely without any difficulty.
Now, onto the part about the review everyone either hates or likes. I am not a huge fan of the Queen although I can see how she became who she became, and I am interested in learning more about her in the upcoming books. I also am interested in finding out what comes of Lucy and how the whole Loki and Shew thing works out. Oh, yeah you probably thought I was going to tell you about the contents of the book??? Why would I do that? I don’t like spoilers, so if that’s what you wanted you want find them here. What you will find is that I loved the book, I thoroughly enjoy the series and I am a major Cameron Jace lover!
With that said, I think that if you like fairy-tales and are interested in a new spin on them you should really read this book and all the others, although – it would be wise to read them in order. This way you’re not lost or confused while reading. I do believe that this is a wonderful series and I can’t wait to read more of it in the future!
