{My thoughts} – I have got to admit this is one of the more interesting takes on the classic Romeo and Juliet love story that I have read in awhile. It didn’t take long for me to read through it as it’s simple short text in the style it is written. I like how it is written in a modern style that can and will appeal to the younger audiences. I also like how it is in a sense written like a chatroom, but with a spin added, because it appears to be a chatroom within a facebook realm. I don’t know if that makes sense but both facebook and chatroom concepts are merged together along with texting to create this book.
If you have never read Romeo and Juliet and are wanting to read a version of it, this could be a fast read for you, that helps you to understand the story without all the old English styled writing. I have always enjoyed the story of Romeo and Juliet, however I do not particularly enjoy the original version, but this one was well done and worth the read. I hope that my daughter will read it and quite possibly enjoy it. I look forward to reading more books in this series.
If you have not read the classic Romeo and Juliet and do not know the story it is simple. Two families are at war with one another and their teenage children decide to get married in secret. The fight concludes in the death of many including the young newly weds.
I also, wonder how many more classics they will be writing in this style. As I stated, above it was a fun read, it was engaging and enjoyable.
