{My thoughts} – Sandra Magsamen has done it yet again with this wonderful book with nursery rhymes within it’s pages. I really enjoyed sharing this book with my two year-old. She seemed to enjoy it just as much. She was pointing to words and other illustrations while I explained to her what things were what.
I love how bright and simple the graphics are. I love how decorative the text is within it’s pages. The illustrations are fun and help to pull a child’s attention to what is being read to them. I highly enjoy books like this and as far as I can tell so does my daughter.
This book is all about shortened nursery rhymes. It has some of the classic beloved nursery rhymes within it’s pages. The illustrations are pastel colored and very likable for children and adults alike. My daughter really enjoyed having this read to her the first time that we’d ended up reading it a few more times in the same sitting. I love when she finds books that completely hold her attention.
I recommend this book for all young children. It helps to introduce them to nursery rhymes. Some of them are so fun that you can’t help but sing them as you read. I promise this is definitely a book that you want to add to your child’s library.
