{Synopsis} – Weir’s back and even weirder! But it’s not just Weir who’s weird, it’s his whole family. Not even their pet bird is normal! How will he keep cool with a school trip to the zoo coming up AND Bella’s birthday party?! It won’t be easy … but it will be funny!
{My thoughts} – Weir Do is back in an all new book. In this book he is getting ready to go to the birthday party that he was invited to in the first book. This is a fun little quirky book about a boy that is learning that just being who he is is what’s best for everyone.
He has his strengths and he has his weaknesses but he overall is a fun, silly easy to get along with boy. He is so excited for the party and the day before things start going wrong. He eventually figures out a solution but more things go wrong on the way to the party. Eventually him and his family make it and things go a little differently than Weir had wanted, but I’m sure he wouldn’t have changed any of it, even if he could have.
I really liked reading more about Weir. He is a fun character and he helps to show children, that the best thing they can do is to be true to themselves. You learn that same lesson over and over and over again in the first book in the series as well as this second book.
Final Conclusion: 5 Star Rating.
