Emily Elizabeth wants to earn her Cool Kahuna Badge at the Birdwell Island pool. That means she has to swim across the pool using three different strokes, go down to the bottom of the deep end, and jump off the high dive! Clifford and his friends turn each part of the test into a game to help Emily Elizabeth practice. But on the day of the test, the high dive is broken! Can Clifford help save the day?

{My thoughts} – I am sure everyone has heard of Clifford the Big Red Dog at this point. It has been turned into a television series for young children and there are countless books about it.
In this book Emily Elizabeth is going to be try taking the test to be able to swim on the deep side of the swimming pool. She practiced really hard, but when it came time to take the test, the dive board was broken.
Clifford saves the day because, he helps them to be able to take the test. He pretends to be the dive board and because of that, everyone is able to take the test. They each pass the test and celebrate.
This is a fun read for fans that enjoy Clifford the Big Red Dog.
